Yes, K.SANT is safe on sealed quartz, granite, and marble countertops. The formula is pH-balanced and contains no acids, bleach, or ammonia that would etch natural stone. As with any cleaner, test in an inconspicuous spot first, especially on antique or specialty finishes. For unsealed natural stone, we recommend a stone-specific cleaner.

Yes, K.SANT can be used on sealed hardwood floors. Mist the spray lightly onto a microfiber mop pad rather than directly onto the wood — never let water pool. The Every Spray cleans without leaving a sticky residue and dries quickly. For unsealed or freshly-oiled wood, skip K.SANT and use a wood-specific cleaner instead.

K.SANT is not currently EWG Verified as a finished product. Our formula is built from ingredients that score well on the EWG database — purified water, organic spirits, organic castile soap, and a blend of organic essential oils — but we have not yet completed the EWG Verified application process. Certification is on our roadmap.

Vinegar and water is a great DIY cleaner for some surfaces, but it has limits: it's too acidic for stone (etches granite and marble), the smell is strong, and it doesn't lift grease well on its own. K.SANT is formulated for the full range of surfaces a household actually has, smells like a soft botanical instead of a salad, and uses organic castile soap to cut grease without leaving residue.

We designed the refill to be diluted into a K.SANT Every Spray bottle, but it will also work in any clean 16 oz glass spray bottle following the same dilution ratio printed on the refill. Avoid plastic bottles for storage — the essential-oil blend can degrade plastic over time and pick up off-tastes from the bottle.

The Every Spray has a shelf life of 24 months from manufacture, sealed and unopened. Once you open the bottle, we recommend using it within 12 months for the freshest scent. The formula remains effective beyond that, but the essential oil notes soften over time. Each bottle is dated; store in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
